As most actors, Jaz was born with a lifelong desire to engage, excite and elicit emotion. As a kid his home was his stage, his family of 7 his immediate audience. A fearless youth, Jaz would bound upon any stage to make his voice known, one time conveniently abandoning his mother in a crowded holiday mall, only to be found dancing and singing, Billy Elliot-style, on top of a grand piano, the crowd cheering as Jaz performed with abandon and exultation. Adept at dozens of dialects, Jaz brings a unique voice to every character he plays. Formally trained at the University of Sunderland in England with a BA in Drama, he went on, as most actors do in England, to own a wall and floor tiling business. Suffering under the burden of grout, the relentless consistency of scraping trowels, Jaz had to find a way out. He could not fathom a life of monotony. He needed to take a chance. His big break came in 2009 when he serendipitously landed the lead role in a production of The Secret Life of John Cooper Clarke, as the lead conveniently had a shot at the commonwealth featherweight belt. Jaz's performance was heralded in The York Press as 'impressive' with 'only 2 weeks' notice'. After the run ended Jaz decided to hang up his trowel and sell his company for a shot at stardom. Having the courage, conviction and desire to follow his dreams, Jaz landed in LA in 2009. It was the greatest decision he's ever made. Jaz has since landed lead roles in the feature film '200 MPH' and a lead in the short film 'Breathe'. He also landed a supporting role in the feature film 'The Shattering'. Jaz resides in Hollywood, California as a lawful U.S. citizen.
